I am a Vancouver-based dancer and educator who has been trained in various forms of dance. My early dance education took place at Arts Umbrella, and I hold a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Dance from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University). My years of experience in the studio and on stage have brought me to my current passion for teaching and sharing my love of dance.
In all of my classes, I am interested in facilitating engaging, inclusive and positive experiences for my students. Currently, I am pursuing a Master’s degree in Arts Education at Simon Fraser University which is informing my approach and philosophy of teaching. It is also reinforcing how important the arts are for our communities.
